Painting Schemes and Guidelines

RIVERPOINTE HOA COLOR GUIDELINES
BEFORE you begin painting your house, you must have board approval. Be sure to open a change request issue before starting your project. The following paint color schemes are pre-approved. They are based off the original design of the community. These guidelines are in place to help our community remain as consistent as possible, keeping home values and curb appeal up.
Our community has many different elevations. Most homes will have one primary color, a secondary body color and an accent for the doors and shutters.
- If your home has only one body color, you may choose from the body or body option 2 for your primary.
- If your home has two body colors, you may invert the colors in the scheme. For example, you may choose to make body option 2 your primary and the body your secondary.
- Trim and garage doors are the same color throughout the community. Please do not paint your garage a body color.
- Shutters and front doors (AKA accent colors) have been matched to each scheme however if you wish to use a different accent color, you may choose any shutter and door color from the pre-approved list. You must paint both the shutters and front door the same accent color. For example, you may not choose Black Fox for your door and Naval for your shutters. If you don’t have shutters then this will just be your front door accent. Accent colors may not be used anywhere on the body of house.
- If your home is two colors but the secondary matches your trim and garage then you may choose to use the secondary body color from the scheme or choose to stick to the original color and just use your trim paint as your secondary.
- Body colors are not interchangeable. For instance, you cannot take body color from scheme six and body option 2 from scheme four.
We understand that with a variety of elevations and generations, many homes may have slight variations. If you have a variation that isn’t covered in this list above, please reach out with your questions BEFORE you begin your project.

The following accent are pre-approved.
You may choose any accent for your shutters and doors from the pre-approved list. You must paint both the shutters and front doors the same accent color. For example, you may not choose Black Fox for your door and Naval for your shutters. If you don’t have shutters then this will just be your front door accent.
